Future Technologies and Tools
The EntelMed strategic plan for the future includes using AI and other advanced technologies in RPM, including computer vision, the internet of things (IoT), and machine learning algorithms.
Enhanced Accuracy:
AI and other advanced technologies can improve RPM’s accuracy and efficiency.
Computer Vision:
IoT:
The internet of things (IoT) technology can integrate different devices and sensors into the RPM system, allowing for real-time data collection and analysis. This can include wearable devices, sensors placed in the home, and other IoT-enabled devices.
Machine Learning Algorithms:
Advancements in Wearable Devices:
The technology used in wearable devices is continuously improving, with new devices developed that offer more accurate and reliable data. In the future, these devices are expected to become even more advanced, with the potential to monitor a broader range of health metrics.
Integration of AI:
AI is expected to play an increasingly important role in RPM and home care, potentially improving data analysis and decision-making accuracy and efficiency. AI algorithms are expected to become more sophisticated and effective, allowing for better patient outcomes.
Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality:
Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies are expected to play a role in RPM and home care in the future. These technologies can be used to provide patients with immersive and interactive health and wellness experiences, as well as to provide remote care to patients who may be isolated or unable to leave their homes.
Detection of Cognitive or Emotional State.
An NLP (Natural Language Processing) algorithm will detect changes in a person’s cognitive or emotional state by analyzing speech and text inputs captured by RPM devices. The NLP algorithm would detect changes in the person’s cognitive or emotional state.
